Steps to Adopting Your New Best Friend

Complete the Adoption Inquiry

Submit your information to our team. We will review your application and contact you to discuss your home environment.

Interview & Home Check

We start with a short video call to get to know each other, talk about your lifestyle, and make sure the dog is a good fit for your home.

Virtual Meet & Greet

You’ll meet the dog virtually with their foster so you can see their personality and ask any questions.

Adoption Agreement

If everything feels like a good match, we move forward with the adoption agreement for review and signature.

Travel Coordination

We coordinate all travel logistics including flights with a volunteer flight angel, veterinary documentation, and import paperwork. We transport dogs safely via trusted flight angels and airline cargo services to major cities in Canada and the U.S., including:

Vancouver
Victoria
Seattle
Calgary
Portland

And more

Airport Pick Up

We coordinate with you to arrange for you to meet your new best friend at the airport. Your flight angel with have the necessary paperwork for the dog to clear customs and meet you in the baggage claim area.

Pay Adoption Fee

Once you have received your new best friend, you pay the adoption fee. Scroll down for more details on the adoption fee.

Adoption Fees

Paid only on arrival day, never in advance.

Our adoption fees vary depending on the dog's age, transport fees, and other factors.

Our standard adoption fee is $850 CAD.

This contribution helps cover the full rescue and relocation process, including:

Rescue and foster care
Daily care, food, and basic supplies
Veterinary care and medical treatments
Vaccinations and deworming
Spay or neuter
Health certificate and travel documentation
Importation paperwork and fees
Airline fees and coordination with flight angels
Ground transportation (to and from the airport)
Travel kennel and preparation for safe transport

Every adoption fee directly supports our mission and allows us to continue rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming more dogs in need.
