Lunares
MEET LUNARES
La Paz, Baja California Sur, Mexico
Ready to travel to her forever home
Lunares was found completely alone on Punta Arenas beach, exhausted, dehydrated, and wandering under the sun with no collar or identification
When she was rescued, she drank almost 1.5 liters of water. Despite everything she had been through, she still gently approached people and even started playing with another dog. When her rescuers tried to leave, she followed them nearly 1 km back to their car, as if she knew this was her only chance to finally be safe
Since that day, nobody has come looking for her.
Lunares is now safe in foster care and showing everyone what a sweet and gentle soul she truly is.

Lunares is likely a Border Collie / Terrier mix, with the cutest expressive eyes and a calm, sensitive personality that melts your heart.
About Lunares:
Female
Likely Border Collie / Terrier mix
Estimated around 28 lbs
Medium energy
Walks nicely on leash
Does well in the car
Calm inside the home
Quiet and independent
So far, she has done very well with the foster’s dog and has been incredibly gentle and respectful in the home environment.
Lunares would likely thrive in a calm home with a yard, patience, and lots of love while she continues building confidence and learning that the world can finally be kind to her
After surviving alone on the beach, Lunares deserves a family that will never abandon her again.
