Rocky’s story began on the streets of Loreto alongside his brother Chaparro. During the intense Baja heat, they discovered a home where they could always find water, food, shade and kindness. Little by little, they began trusting the family, who started providing them with veterinary care
One day, Rocky returned with a skin infection on his face. His rescuer took him into care, treated him, and he recovered beautifully. Since then, Rocky has been living in a foster home and has adapted wonderfully to life indoors.

Rocky enjoys walks and spending time with his people, but he is also perfectly happy relaxing at home. He is independent without being distant and loves affection and companionship.
He would be a wonderful companion for a family looking for a mature, balanced dog who can enjoy adventures and quiet days at home.
After spending so much of his life without a home of his own, we hope Rocky’s next chapter will finally be forever.
