Rudi is one of those dogs that quietly steals your heart.
He’s a beautiful little Baja boy with the sweetest gentle soul, but it’s clear life was not always kind to him. While he is never aggressive, Rudi takes time to fully trust people and still feels unsure about being touched at first.
Even so, he chooses to be close to you. He’ll approach you on his own, stay nearby, watch you curiously, and slowly begin building trust in his own quiet way.

Rudi absolutely LOVES other dogs and would thrive in a home with confident playful dog friends to help him continue building confidence
He enjoys playing, exploring, and being near his people, even if physical touch still feels overwhelming for him at times.
We don’t know what happened to Rudi before rescue, but whatever it was, he deserves patience, kindness, and a family willing to let him heal at his own pace
He is not aggressive at all. He simply needs someone who understands shy dogs and will allow trust to happen naturally.
Watching dogs like Rudi slowly learn they are safe is one of the most rewarding things in the world
