About Us
Pawssport Home Society is a registered Canadian charity based in British Columbia dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming abandoned and vulnerable dogs from Mexico.

We work alongside rescuers, foster families, veterinarians, volunteers, Flight Angels, and adopters to give dogs a safe path from rescue to a permanent home in Canada and the United States.

Our work goes beyond adoption. We support veterinary care, spay and neuter initiatives, foster care, responsible adoption, transportation, and post-adoption follow-up, with the goal of creating lasting change for dogs and the communities where they are rescued.
Our Story
Pawssport Home began in the winter of 2024, when we spent the season in La Paz, Baja California Sur, volunteering with a local animal shelter and helping rescue dogs find adoptive homes.

What started as a couple volunteering during a winter in Mexico quickly became something much bigger. Seeing firsthand how many dogs needed medical care, safe foster homes, and a chance to find a permanent family inspired us to create Pawssport Home.

From those first rescues in La Paz, our work grew into a cross-border effort connecting rescuers and communities in Mexico with fosters, volunteers, Flight Angels, and adoptive families in Canada and the United States.
